Engineer Shazad Elahi son of Mr Lewis William was born on September 1, 1965 in Lahore. He obtained the degree of B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) in 1995 from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He served as General Councillor, UC No.18, Lahore during 2001-03. He remained a Member of Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2002-07 and also functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering during 2003-07. He has returned again to the Punjab Assembly in general elections 2008 against one of the seats reserved for non-muslim minorities. He visited USA in 2007.
