Mrs Maha Raja Tareen wife of Dr Naeem Tareen was born on February 25, 1976 in Lahore. She obtained the degree of M.B.A in 1999 from University of Wyoming, U.S.A. She was President and Executive President of Government Kinnaird College Lahore. She is a political worker, who has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002 against one of the seats reserved for women. Her father Raja Munawar Ahmed was Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77 and also served as Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab during 1973-75; as Advisor on Local Government to President Zia-ul-Haq during 1981-85 and as Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab during 1993-95.
