Personal Career & Interests

Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas, son of Syed Inayat Ullah Shah, was born on March 13, 1953. He obtained the degree of M.A. (Economics) in 1975 and that of M.A. (Punjabi) in 1977 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has attended International Conferences held in USA (1985) as head of delegation, in Turkey (1991) as Member of Youth Delegation and in Norway (1996) as head of delegation. An educationist and a businessman, who is the Chief Executive of the Punjab School, Lahore; Secretary General, Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan; Member Executive Committee Fountain House Lahore and is a member of different social welfare organisations. He served as Naib Nazim, Union Council No.127 Lahore during 2001. He has been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in General Elections 2002.
