Mrs Shaheen Ishfaq daughter of Syed Ishfaq Hussain was born on June 21, 1949 at Gujranwala. She obtained the degree of MA (Political Science) in 1974 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She served as Member, National Assembly during 2008-13; as Councillor during 2001-05 and has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013 against one of the seats reserved for women and is functioning as Parliamentary Secretary for Women Development. She has been serving as a Member in NGOs namely “Aurat Foundation” and “Chaou”.
