Ms Saira Iftikhar daughter of Ch Iftikhar Ahmad Kahloon was born in September, in Karachi. She holds the degree of M.A English and also possesses Bachelor degree in Advance Management from Hamburger University, Chicago (Kuala Lumpur Campus). She has also completed multiple professional courses of Advance Management from Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore. She has served as Media Consultant and Dairy Development Expert in various multinational companies in corporate sector. She has extensively travelled abroad. A certified fire fighter, who has been elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013 against one of the seats reserved for women. She writes columns on business page of various daily newspapers. Her uncle, Ch Mumtaz Ahmad Kahloon was Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1972-77 and 1977 and served as Minister for Auqaf, Colonies and Consolidation, Law & Parliamentary Affairs and Information during 1972-77. Her another uncle, Ch Farrukh Javed Ghuman served as Member Punjab Assembly during 1985-88, 1990-93 and 1993-96 and also functioned as Minister.
