Begum Khola Amjad wife of Mr Amjad Majeed Sheikh was born on December 12, 1952 at Multan. She obtained Master Diploma in French from Alliance Francaise Paris, France in 1976 and also completed postgraduate diploma in Office Management from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan in 2000. She has served as Master Trainer in the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. She is serving as Chairperson Darul Aman and Darul Falah, Multan; as Member Advisory Board, Bait-ul-Maal. She is an Executive Member of District Action Committee for Women’s Rights and is serving various NGOs including Aurat Foundation, SPO, NDI and Rotary International. A social activist, who was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in general elections 2013 against one of the seats reserved for women. She is an executive Member of Women Parliamentary Caucus. She has travelled to France, UK, Spain, Dubai and USA.
