Mr Muhammad Nasir Cheema son of Ch Khushi Muhammad Cheema was born on February 1, 1952 at Gujranwala. He obtained the degree of LL.B. in 1974from Himayat-e-Islam Law College, Lahore; and that of M.Sc (Mathematics)in 1975 from Government College, Lahore. An agriculturist and an advocate,who remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 2005-07.He served as Member, Zila Council for four consecutive terms during 1987-90,1990-93, 1993-96, 1997-99; and as Nazim, Union Council during 2001-02. He has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the second term in bye-elections held on June 21, 2015. He has been serving as President, Aiwan-e-Zarat, Punjab since 2006. He has visited USA, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. His brother, Mr. Muhammad Azam Cheema, remained Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab for four terms during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99; and also functioned as Advisor to Chief Minister during 1988-90 and 1990-93.
