Mr Amir Hayat Hiraj son of Mehar Umar Hayat Hiraj was born on January 2, 1982. He did American High School from American School Lahore. Bachelors from GCU Lahore and BZU Multan. He served as Banker as Relationship Manager in ABN AMRO Bank during 2006-07. He was elected as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in 2008 and functioned as Chairman, Standing Committee on Food during 2008-13. He again got elected in elections 2013. He has functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Mines & Minerals 2013-18 and functioned as Chairman Punjab Food Authority. An agriculturist, who has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the third term in general elections 2024. He has travelled to United Stated of America with the Delegation on Agriculture, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, UAE, Turkey, Nepal, Oman, Dubai Sri Lanka, Maldives, Azerbaijan and China with a Delegation for CPEC and with Delegation to Philippine on Agriculture. His uncle, Haji Khizar Hayat Hiraj served as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1997-99 and Advisor to Chief Minister, Punjab 2014-18. He is a member of Standing Committees on Punjab Emergency Services, Livestock & Dairy Development and Human Rights & Minorities.
