Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary, was born on 3rd February, 1985. He has extensive experience of working in private sector, development sector and Government. He started his career as an investment banker with KASB-Merrill Lynch BoA in Karachi. He worked on climate finance, urban transport and urban cometitiveness with World Bank Group, IFC and WRI Ross center for Sustainable Cities in Washington, USA. He also worked with King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia.
Ahmed Iqbal Chaudhary was elected as Chairman, District Council Narowal in 2016. During this time he headed the Chief Minister Punjab Committee on Local Government Empowerment and served as the Technical member of Provincial Finance Commission.
Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary is a stanch advocate of empowered Local Governments and building sustainable human settlements. He has represented Pakistan at various international forums including CoP 29, LDC5 and strong cities Network.
Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary hold a master of Public Administration from University of Pennsylvania; Fels Institute of Government, where he received "Institutional Service Award"
